Strong Paraguayan yerba from specially selected, most aromatic stems and maté leaves. Very strongly invigorating and stimulating. Boldo (Peumus boldus) is traditionally used for problems with bile excretion into the duodenum and as a calming, diuretic, and antibacterial agent acting on the bile and urinary tracts. It is indicated as a remedy for gallstones, painful gallbladders or livers, bladder inflammation, rheumatism, and especially for painful inflammatory gallstones. The essential oil component includes ascaridol, which acts against parasites. The leaf was also traditionally used for gonorrhea and liver diseases. High doses can cause irritation and kidney damage, especially in cases where the kidney tissue is already burdened by other diseases.
